Omg hiiiii you're coming here after reading the previous page right! :] So as I established, I love media. Movies, TV, music, video games, and books. The whole shebang. And sometimes there's a series or franchise that I decide I'm not going to be normal about. And that's when I go and recommend it to people, seek out fan content about it, make my own fan content about it, and just consume any information about it that I can. I think the people that know me IRL could probably figure out which media I am not normal about.
Lately, I've been wanting to collect physical media. I remember being young enough to see a bit of the world before it became so digital and I think I miss a lot of it. I remember having this tiny DVD player that we would bring around while traveling to my uncle's house in San Jose, California. I have memories of watching Aaja Nachle, Over the Hedge, and Corpse Bride on that tiny DVD player. There was something so nice about being able to pick up a disk and see the design on it and its case. And being able to press all those buttons on the DVD player! It was so fun! Plus, with how companies are acting now saying that we don't own anything we purchase, it feels like a really good time to collect my favorite pieces of media. And as of now, I have had some great luck finding a ton of CD's, and mostly second hand!

Now I feel like video games deserves it's own paragraph. Video games have felt like such a big part of my life. It's a huge hobby of mine and its also an art form I really enjoy! My first video game that I can coherently remember playing, was Shrek 2 on the PS2. I was player number 2 (as player number 1 went to my older sister) and I had one of those clear controllers where you could see the inner workings! We had so much fun and there is always going to be a soft spot in my heart for co-op games. As I've gotten older, I've gotten the privilege to play a lot more games. And it is so nice having different options for different moods I'm in. There is also a ton of games that I am objectively awful at, but I still enjoy playing them for one reason or the other. Another one of my favorite things to do is watching people play a game! It all started when me and my younger sister would watch our older sister play Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. And to this day I'll still watch other people play their games. Sometimes it'll inspire me to try out that game and other times it reminds me why I like watching that game instead of playing it.
