One thing about me is that I do not like staying idle. I have to be doing something. I feel a sort of guilt when I'm not doing something productive or fo leisure. Especially when I'm not busy with something, it leaves me alone with my thoughts, and on average, I should not be left alone with my thoughts...But luckily, I'm the type of person who loves nothing more than starting a new hobby (whether or not I abandon that hobby after being obsessed with it the week prior, is another story!) And over the years of being alive, I have found many things I like doing! Yippee!
A lot of the hobbies I have seem to be related anything that fuels my creativity. I have always been an artsy person. I have enjoyed creating art and I have enjoyed viewing art. Ever since I was litle I had been drawing. There was many a math worksheet with an stylized eye in the corner. But sometimes I do hate art. I feel this need constantly improve my craft because I am too old to be mediocre at something I like. Sometimes I never want to pick up a pencil, brush, or stylus again. Yet, I feel this empty void in my soul when I am not creative. So, I don't think it matters that my work is nothing special. It made me feel alive creating it. Maybe I'll be embarassed by my lack of skill at the moment, but I know I felt fufilled while making it in the first place. And in this age of AI, I feel this joy when I see any human made art because I know there was a person behind the piece. And maybe they felt the same way I do when making art.
You know, that last bit was lowkey poetic right! Maybe doing some writing should be the next hobby. Anyway, let's list some more hobbies, but with less melodrama. I really enjoy media. So much so I got a whole page you'll read through, so I won't say more yet. I also LOVE playing dress up, both in games and in real life. I adore making a fit and doing my makeup! And unfortunately, I do enjoy some shopping. Thankfully, I'm quite responsible and I love saving money more than I love spending it. But ooooo catch me at a thrift store and I fear I will be scanning through the clothes, dolls, books, and CDs. I also mostly enjoy cooking! I think what's more fun for me is trying out new recipes. Especially because I HATE following directions, and usually cooking is alright if you freestyle a bit! I have made some great dishes over the years (and I may have also slightly ruined some dishes...)
